The disruption caused by the pandemic has upended graduate recruitment and has redefined how prospective students are engaged through a virtual medium. Like other large conferences, the Diversity Forum is experimenting with how to best meet the needs of our students and connect them with graduate recruiters. This year, we will try a different approach that extends the graduate recruiter fair beyond a single event.
Recruiters will submit details for their virtual open houses or information sessions, using Zoom or another platform of their choice, to be included in a central calendar. Registered students will be provided this calendar of exciting recruitment opportunities. This calendar can be integrated directly into their own personal calendars and will provide seamless access to upcoming sessions. Given that the calendar is hosted online, it will always be current. Recruiters must host at least one information session to be eligible for the student registration list.
This calendar is hosted through Google Calendar and can be added as a read-only view to any personal or professional calendar platform.
